Our creative journey

Discover the process behind bringing our project to life. From initial ideas to the final score, our step by step process to craft every detail. This included planning the sound design and music, coordinating team roles, creating a cue sheet, and carefully timing audio to match the visuals. Each stage of the process contributed to making the final film cohesive, engaging, and reflective of the themes of growth, change, and renewal

Setting the stage: Initial Planning

Our journey begins with planning and group discussions. We create detailed timelines for our work, conduct group meetings to discuss planning, and develop cue sheets to guide our recording sessions. This collaborative foundation ensures everyone is aligned and contributes effectively to the project's vision.

Production Process

In order to create a new score for the short film Spring, we concentrated on creating a unique score during the production stage. In order to capture the themes and ambiance of each scene, we experimented with melodies, harmonies, and instrumentation throughout this process. To make sure the music complemented the pacing and plot, ideas were carefully developed, polished, and synchronised with the images.

Spring Foley Recording Session

The goal of recording foley for the  forest-set short film Spring is to replicate natural noises that complement the setting and action on screen. This includes the rustle of branches and trees, footsteps on leaves and twigs, and small motions like moving through grass or brushing against foliage.Below are some examples of the foley audio we used to create the various effects within spring . You'll see first hand how these sounds were created in our behind the scenes video.

Refining the sound: Mixing and mastering

Once the recording is complete, we move to the crucial stages of main composition, mixing, and mastering. This is where we fine-tune every element, ensuring balance, clarity, and impact. Our goal is to deliver a polished and immersive audio experience that perfectly complements the film "Spring." We want you to understand the ins and outs of how we made this project.
